Plan Documents

Upon completion of the schematic design and approval by the owner, John Fought Design (JFD) begins the process of developing a detailed set of construction documents that allows the owner to obtain the necessary approvals, bid the work with qualified contractors, and ultimately build the golf course.

The first step is to develop a new contour plan (grading) that allows us to develop ancillary plans such as clearing, drainage, cut and fill, grassing, and greens details. Along with these plans, JFD creates a construction manual, which contains a bid form, AIA general conditions, sample forms, and a customized set of technical specifications. These plans and documents are critical to the construction of the golf course.

All of the plan documents will be developed in an AutoCAD format so they can be integrated with the project land planner or civil engineer.
